It's official! microwallet.org stopped paying on time. Perhaps not paying at all. A message on the site states:

Processing the withdrawal rarely takes more than 48 hours. Don't send email about it unless you did not receive it within 7 days. Thanks.

There is a problem, however. It has been three weeks as of the time of this writing - March 27 2015 - during which I have not received a payment from several accounts. Previously microwallet.org paid within minutes from the time when the minimum balance was achieved. Perhaps they gambled the money away and they are waiting for new deposits which would allow them to pay out older balances. Perhaps they got hacked or perhaps they changed management and the new guys have no clue. Perhaps it is a computer glitch or perhaps some government is interfering with the operations. God only knows what the reason is but it is not cool. I could only speculate what the cause is but one thing is sure that trust is fading and many faucet operators look for alternate ways to pay.

microwallet.org is a micro wallet as the name indicates. Their job is to accumulate a lot of very small Bitcoin transactions into a significant amount and then send the balance  to the account holder's Bitcon wallet thus reducing transaction fees. Web sites which pay penny worth amounts of Bitcoins for visiting them would have a significant transaction cost if they were to pay the visitors directly. Instead, they keep tab at microwallet.org without actually sending the money.  It worked great until a few weeks ago!
