It is March 2017 and CIBC Investor's Edge customers still can't place trades for NEO listed securities using Edge's online application. Aequitas NEO stock exchange which was founded in March of 2015 has recently listed several iShares exchange traded funds. The funds were also delisted from the Toronto Stock Exchange so they can't be traded there anymore. CIBC Investor's Edge's clients receive "invalid symbol" error messages when they try to trade iShares funds online. Although the trades can be placed over the phone it is still an incoveniece for some clients as it takes much longer to place such trades. So why is CIBC Investor's Edge so slow with implementation of online trades on NEO?
